One of the biggest problems that some people experience when they are trying to lose weight is that they are influenced by emotional triggers.
These are things, habits, that we tap into when we are upset, stressed or depressed. For example, when depressed we reach for comfort food like cheesecake or fast food.
There are certain chemicals in our brain that we all have that are connected to mood and hunger.
Sometimes it is easier to get food that makes me feel better rather than to work out.
Once we recognize what we are doing, it is easier to prevent it from happening again in the future.
Next time you feel that desire for some junk food, or some comfort food, go for a walk. Go play catch with your children. Do something physical rather than reaching for that food that makes you feel good, but is ultimately bad for you.
By recognizing the emotional trigger, and doing something about it, you can controll it, rather than it controlling you.
By doing this you will have success with working towards getting to lose abdominal fat.
